Kas Lionheart Jonathan (aka KAS) was introduced to the music industry at the tender age of 7 and performed regularly to crowds of around 400 people in his homeland Nigeria. Showing such verve and confidence so early on musically, KAS continued to follow what he felt was a Fire God had put in his heart! performing arts at the age of 18, and soon after, KAS then embraced this passion and set out in pursuit of a career as an entertainer.
Over the last decade he has harnessed his performance and production skills becoming one of Africa’s most sought after recording artist and producers.
KAS epitomizes the new and ever growing youthful sound, of African music today. Born to a Nigerian father and a British mother he is the last son of two. He is of Yoruba decent and is occasionally referred to as ‘Omo Yoruba’ meaning ‘Son of the Yoruba tribe’. KAS openly exudes pride and takes full ownership of his Yoruba inheritance despite his British up bringing.

Hugely inspired by music legends such as Phil Collins, R.Kelly. Ray Charles and Timbaland, KAS ‘Omo Yoruba’ prides the originality of his production and deliverance in music on its unique and futuristic composition and sound.
By no means has KAS ambition exceeded his talent! He is currently becoming a household brand within the African music industry. So much so, that this multi talented singer song writer/ producer has been hailed as the future Puff Daddy of Africa, by some of the most reputable and accredited groups within the African media.
KAS not only has the vision of musical greatness, but also for those who have been fortunate enough to see him perform live, would know he is a true entertainer.
After years of co-writing and producing songs with the likes of Sir Shino Peters, M.I, Nneka, Goldie, Naeto C, 2face, Dbanj, and Wande Coal to name a few, he released his first single ‘Wind For Me’, followed by the monstrous anthem ‘Fi Mi Le’ in 2010.
‘Fi Mi Le’ written and produced by KAS himself, became a hit instantly. Selling over 10.5  million copies officially in Nigeria alone, earning him nominations for numeric awards:
•Dynamix All Youth Awards - SONG OF THE YEAR
•BEST NEW ARTISTE in the  September 2010 Holla Awards
•SSA (South South Awards) - Best Pop SOLO 2011
•Awarded recognition for outstanding musical performance & launch of  of album on the 11-11-11
KAS is presently topping the MTV Africa charts and from this single alone, receives boundless airplay from radio stations across Africa.
On August 30th 2010, KAS performed as one of the lead artists at the Notting Hill Carnival Music Festival 2010 in the heart of London City, to a crowd of over 2,900 screaming fans
In November 2011, he released his long anticipated debut album titled ‘KAS FI MI LE’ in Nigeria and received rave reviews and is now currently planning his UK and European release in 2012 with Strictly Entertainment Music UK as his international agent.

KAS had the privilege of producing and performing on a promotional campaign for the drink company Hennessey & Co (a brand which sells on average 50 million bottles a year Worldwide). The single 'Like A Bottle' and video which featured a list of A-list recording artist was later released and its popularity in Africa demonstrates KAS’s ability to not only produce another hit single, but to be able to producer a track specifically for a commercial product, something very few African producers have been able to achieve or even consider delving into.
